Why We're Different

How our approach is changing lives, for the better

When injuries and symptoms affect our daily life, it can be overwhelming trying to get through the day. Symptoms like headaches, fatigue, light sensitivity, and more can take away our focus our ability to work, care for our family, and enjoy life.

Your Brain Can Change!

What can be even more difficult is when you do not know where to go or how to help these symptoms. Sometimes you don’t know where to start; other times you have been to many places trying to get relief without success. Both are frustrating. Many patients we see come to us “stuck” and do not know what they need to do to feel better or start healing. They have been struggling for a long time. We know this can be a difficult task to try and tackle these problems all alone.

My brother and I started our clinic because we want to help people like you. We want to hear your story and answer your questions. We strive to be your advocate and a resource in your healing journey. We would like to help you understand your condition and symptoms and give you our perspective on healing.

So what sets our clinic apart from others?

#1 We listen.

We allow everyone enough time to explain your personal story and symptoms. We do not believe in quick, rushed appointments. We know that every person is different and needs an individualized approach.

#2 We understand.

We have spent nearly a decade working with some of the most complex and difficult cases and having to “think outside the box” with people just like you. We look at things differently; understanding the brain and how it functions may be just the answer you are looking for. Our passion to continually learn and understand the brain can help even the most stubborn and difficult symptoms.

#3 We care.

We know that sometimes overcoming health challenges can feel overwhelming. We offer a free phone call and one of our doctors will help you understand how we may be able to help. No strings attached. If you decide on moving forward with therapy, you will work exclusively with that doctor for the remainder of your treatment to ensure you receive the best care possible. Find out more here.

Our mission at Great Lakes Functional Neurology is to help you understand your injury and get you back to normal, healthy living.
